Why are you interested in working as a PA?
I have worked as PA in the past and I supported a young man with autism. I throughly enjoyed watching him grow into confident young adult and engaging with people, activities such as going to college, volunteer employment. I supported him with cooking and cleaning and going out for days out. We talked about his hopes and fears and what he wanted to achieve. I found the role very rewarding and I felt that we learnt from each other.
I also worked with a man with cerebral palsy and the role of PA was very much the same. I supported him with cooking, cleaning and shopping. I also escorted him to the gym and attending auditions a she worked as performer.
What interests and/or hobbies do you have?
I come from creative back ground and I also work as Film Maker, occasional Actor and volunteer Youth Worker. I enjoy film reading and music, currently developing an interest in documentary photography. I enjoy going to the gym and swimming. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and learning about new cultures, ways of life.
I feel meeting different people broadens your horizons and helps you understand yourself and the world a little bit more.
